Stains should be removed as soon as possible. First, immediate stain removal should be performed. The removal method should be chosen depending on the type of stain.
The three major stain removal methods are:
Treatment with water or detergent:
Treatment with solvent (alcohol, benzine, etc.):
Treatment with a chemical agent (alkali, acid, bleach, etc.):
Stain removal procedures
First confirm which agent can be used for the cushion material.
Place thick cotton cloths under the material.
Apply and pat water or dilute neutral detergent on the stain (do not scrub).
Repeat the procedure while changing the location of the cotton cloths so that the stain is transferred to the cloths.
Perform chemical treatment, if needed. Before using an agent, confirm that the agent can be used for the cushion material and determine whether the agent changes the color of the material using the hem.
Spray the material with water, remove the water using a dry towel, and dry naturally.
Turn back the material for ironing.
Stain types and removal methods
Ballpoint pen
Use acetone or thinner to remove a stain and wash the product with detergent.
Magic marker ink
Use benzine to remove a stain and wash the product using detergent.
Alcohol and beer
Use warm water or detergent.
Tea and coffee
Use hot water and then wash the product with detergent by hand.
Oils
Use warm detergent or benzine.
